Is CLOCK useful for stress?

The CLOCK gene variant in MyBody-X tests is primarily used to estimate chronotype (e.g., lark vs. owl), not directly for stress. GWAS evidence links CLOCK to circadian rhythm, which can indirectly affect stress resilience, but the effect size is small. Stress is a multifactorial phenotype involving cortisol, environment, and many genes. A single SNP cannot reliably predict your stress response. Evidence is observational/GWAS, not clinical. For stress assessment, validated questionnaires and cortisol testing are more appropriate. Do not overinterpret consumer DNA results for stress.
