What to watch with tTG IgA and Allergie?

tTG IgA is a biomarker for celiac disease, not for allergies. Elevated levels suggest possible gluten sensitivity, but can also occur in other autoimmune conditions or infections. Allergies (e.g., food allergies) are IgE-mediated and require different testing. A positive tTG IgA should be confirmed with an intestinal biopsy before starting a gluten-free diet.
