Can tTG IgA help with blood sugar?

tTG IgA is an antibody test for celiac disease. A positive result may indicate gluten sensitivity, which is linked to an increased risk of type 1 diabetes. In individuals with both conditions, a gluten-free diet can improve glycemic control, but tTG IgA itself does not lower blood sugar. The test is diagnostic, not therapeutic. Evidence: human-moderate (celiac-diabetes association). Caveat: tTG IgA is not a direct blood sugar marker.
