Is VKORC1 useful for Müdigkeit?

VKORC1 is primarily known for its role in vitamin K recycling and sensitivity to the anticoagulant warfarin. The MyBody-X context does not include this gene, and there is no evidence linking VKORC1 variants to fatigue. Fatigue can stem from many causes (e.g., iron deficiency, sleep disorders, thyroid issues, stress). A consumer DNA test for VKORC1 is not useful for evaluating tiredness. Even if a test reports this variant, it should not be used to guide any self-treatment. The evidence is purely mechanistic and limited to pharmacogenetics of blood thinners. For fatigue workup, standard clinical tests (e.g., ferritin, vitamin D, TSH) and a physician's evaluation are far more appropriate.
