How are IgE Allergietest and Schlaf related?

An IgE allergy test measures specific antibodies against allergens. Elevated IgE levels can indicate allergic sensitization, which may impair sleep through nighttime nasal congestion, asthma, or itching. However, the link is not direct: many people with high IgE sleep well, and sleep issues often stem from other causes (stress, sleep apnea, poor sleep hygiene). MyBody-X may offer IgE tests, but their clinical relevance for sleep is limited. A positive test alone does not explain a sleep disorder; medical evaluation is needed.
