MyBody-X approaches testosterone & training from a holistic, evidence-based angle. Direct-to-consumer DNA tests may analyze variants in genes like AR (androgen receptor), SHBG (sex hormone-binding globulin), or CYP19A1 (aromatase). However, the clinical utility of single variants is low – they explain only a small fraction of individual testosterone variation. Far more actionable are biomarkers such as total and free testosterone, SHBG, LH, and cortisol, which MyBody-X measures via blood analysis.
