Is ApoB useful for Allergie?

ApoB (apolipoprotein B) is a core component of LDL and other atherogenic lipoproteins, primarily used for cardiovascular risk assessment. There is no established scientific evidence linking ApoB to allergies. Allergies are immune-mediated reactions involving specific IgE, mast cells, and T cells—ApoB plays no known role in this process. Some speculative hypotheses about oxidative stress or inflammation exist, but they lack clinical relevance. The evidence is therefore 'unclear.' If you want to assess allergy status, rely on validated methods such as specific IgE tests (e.g., ImmunoCAP), skin prick tests, or oral food challenges.
