The AllergieCheck (IgE antibody test) measures specific IgE antibodies against common allergens. It can help identify an allergic cause of fatigue if accompanied by typical symptoms like sneezing, itching, or rash. Allergies may contribute to fatigue through chronic inflammation, histamine release, and sleep disruption (e.g., allergic rhinitis). However, fatigue is a highly nonspecific symptom; a positive IgE test alone does not prove that the allergy causes the fatigue. Many individuals with confirmed allergies do not experience fatigue, and fatigue can stem from many other causes (iron deficiency, thyroid dysfunction, sleep apnea, psychological factors).
