Is AMH useful for fertility?

AMH (Anti-Müllerian Hormone) is commonly used as a marker for ovarian reserve, reflecting the remaining egg pool. Evidence shows a moderate correlation between AMH levels and IVF outcomes, particularly in predicting the number of retrieved oocytes. However, AMH is not a reliable predictor of natural conception or live birth rates. The evidence is human-moderate: while very low AMH suggests diminished reserve, normal or high levels do not guarantee fertility.
