The AllergieCheck (IgE antibody test) measures immunoglobulin E levels in the blood, which play a central role in allergic reactions. For longevity, IgE is only indirectly relevant: chronic allergies can contribute to sustained inflammation, a known driver of biological aging. However, the link between total IgE levels and lifespan is weak and not well established. Some studies suggest that very low IgE may increase infection risk, while very high levels indicate atopic conditions. The test is primarily for allergy diagnosis, not longevity counseling. More important for lifespan are inflammatory markers like CRP, IL-6, or insulin sensitivity. IgE alone should not be interpreted as an aging biomarker.
