How are AllergieCheck | IgE-Antikörper Test and Blutzucker related?

The AllergyCheck (IgE antibody test) and blood glucose are not directly physiologically linked. IgE antibodies indicate allergic sensitization, while blood glucose reflects glucose metabolism. An indirect connection may exist through chronic inflammation: allergies can promote systemic inflammation, which might impair insulin sensitivity. However, the evidence is weak and insufficient for clinical recommendations. Additionally, some antihistamines can affect blood sugar. Importantly, the AllergyCheck is not a diagnostic test for metabolic diseases. Elevated blood glucose should always be assessed using established methods (fasting glucose, HbA1c). Combining both tests in a consumer panel is more marketing-driven than evidence-based.
