KombiCheck | Unverträglichkeits- & Allergietest: which blood markers matter?

The KombiCheck combines IgE and IgG measurements. IgE antibodies are well-supported for immediate-type allergies (e.g., pollen, foods). The IgG component, however, lacks evidence for food intolerances: elevated IgG levels often reflect normal immune exposure, not true intolerance. False positives can lead to unnecessary dietary restrictions. Other relevant blood markers like total IgE, eosinophils, or tryptase are usually not included. For intolerances, the gold standard remains an elimination diet. Evidence is mixed: strong for IgE, weak to absent for IgG. Caveat: always consult a doctor before changing your diet.
