Can tTG IgA help with Blutzucker?

tTG IgA (tissue transglutaminase antibody) is a biomarker for celiac disease screening, not directly for blood sugar. In untreated celiac disease, intestinal damage can lead to malabsorption and blood sugar fluctuations (e.g., hypoglycemia). A positive tTG IgA test indicates celiac disease; a gluten-free diet may then improve gut health and indirectly stabilize blood sugar. However, tTG IgA itself does not help manage blood glucose. Evidence linking celiac disease to blood sugar issues is moderate (observational studies). Caveat: tTG IgA tests are not validated for blood sugar management. Consult a physician if celiac disease is suspected.
