Is AMH useful for blood sugar?

AMH (Anti-Müllerian Hormone) is primarily a marker of ovarian reserve used in fertility assessment. It is not a direct measure of blood sugar or glycemic control. Some research suggests an inverse association between AMH levels and insulin resistance or metabolic syndrome in women, but the evidence is weak and inconsistent. AMH is not recommended for diabetes screening or management. MyBody-X does not offer an AMH test. For blood sugar evaluation, standard tests like fasting glucose, HbA1c, and oral glucose tolerance test are appropriate. Be cautious of overinterpreting indirect biomarkers.
