Can Fitness Vitality DNA help with Allergie?

The Fitness Vitality DNA test from MyBody-X is primarily designed for metabolism and sports genetics, not for allergies. Allergies are complex immune responses mediated by IgE antibodies and environmental factors. A DNA test can identify certain genetic variants (e.g., in HLA genes) associated with a slightly increased risk for some allergies, but effect sizes are small and insufficient for clinical diagnosis or management. The test does not replace IgE testing or medical allergy evaluation. Evidence for its utility in allergies is weak, based on association studies rather than randomized controlled trials. MyBody-X offers a separate AllergieCheck (IgE blood test) for allergy assessment.
