Is tTG IgA useful for skin aging?

tTG IgA is a biomarker for celiac disease, not for skin aging. There is no evidence linking tTG IgA levels to skin aging. While celiac disease can present with skin manifestations (e.g., dermatitis herpetiformis), these are immune-mediated lesions, not signs of premature aging. Skin aging is driven by UV exposure, collagen degradation, oxidative stress, and lifestyle factors. Therefore, tTG IgA testing is not useful for assessing skin aging.
