Is AMH useful for Müdigkeit?

AMH (Anti-Müllerian Hormone) is a well-established marker for ovarian reserve in women, but it is not used in routine fatigue workup. Fatigue has many causes – iron deficiency (ferritin), vitamin D deficiency, B12 deficiency, thyroid dysfunction, or sleep issues are far more common. MyBody-X's Nährstoff | VitalCheck Basic analyzes relevant parameters like ferritin, vitamin D3, folate, and transcobalamin (B12 status), which are much more informative for fatigue. There is no robust evidence that AMH levels correlate with general exhaustion outside specific contexts like perimenopausal hormonal shifts. Even then, AMH is not a direct fatigue marker. Using AMH to assess fatigue is not evidence-based and may distract from more useful tests. Conservative assessment: AMH is not useful for fatigue; instead, iron status, vitamin D, B12, and thyroid markers should be considered.
