What role does Longevity DNA Test play in fatigue?

Longevity DNA tests often include SNPs in methylation-related genes like MTHFR. Impaired methylation may theoretically contribute to fatigue, but evidence is limited to GWAS associations, not clinical trials. Fatigue is multifactorial (iron deficiency, poor sleep, stress, thyroid function, nutrition). A DNA test alone cannot diagnose or treat fatigue. MyBody-X articles may have marketing bias; the actual clinical relevance of tested SNPs for fatigue is often small. Consult a physician before taking action based on a genetic test.
