How are Longevity DNA Test and allergy related?

Longevity DNA tests often include SNPs in genes such as HLA, IL-13, or FCER1A that have been associated with allergy risk. However, effect sizes are small (OR typically <1.5) and predictive value for individuals is low. Allergies are polygenic and heavily influenced by environment (exposome, microbiome). No randomized trial shows that dietary changes based on these SNPs prevent or improve allergies. Clinically validated allergy testing (IgE, skin prick) remains the standard. These tests should be considered 'informative' not diagnostic. Beware of overhyped marketing claims.
