CYP2D6 is a key drug-metabolizing enzyme expressed mainly in the liver. However, a direct, clinically meaningful link between CYP2D6 variants and skin health („Haut“) is not well established. There are weak, mostly mechanistic associations with psoriasis or melanoma risk, but no validated predictive tests or actionable recommendations. Evidence is best rated as 'unclear' or 'mechanistic'.
