What to watch with ApoB and fertility?

ApoB (apolipoprotein B) is a core component of LDL particles and a strong predictor of cardiovascular risk. Its link to fertility is less direct, but emerging evidence suggests that elevated ApoB levels may impair fertility – especially in women with PCOS or endometriosis, where dyslipidemia is common. In men, higher ApoB has been associated with reduced sperm quality, possibly via oxidative stress and endothelial dysfunction. However, the evidence is still limited and not conclusive. An ApoB test alone is insufficient for fertility assessment; it should be interpreted alongside a full lipid panel and other fertility markers. Caution: Do not self-treat based on a single biomarker. If you are trying to conceive, a medical evaluation is essential.
