TSH Schilddrüse: which diet helps?

TSH is a marker of thyroid function. Elevated TSH (hypothyroidism) usually requires medication with levothyroxine. A diet providing adequate iodine, selenium, and zinc can support thyroid function but does not replace treatment. Iodine-rich foods include sea fish, seaweed, and iodized salt; selenium sources are Brazil nuts, fish, and eggs; zinc is found in meat, legumes, and whole grains. In Hashimoto's thyroiditis (common cause of hypothyroidism), some discuss gluten-free or anti-inflammatory diets, but evidence is weak. For low TSH (hyperthyroidism), iodine-rich foods should be avoided. Important: No radical diets without medical supervision. Evidence for specific diets is mostly observational and insufficient for general recommendations.
