Is LDL useful for Müdigkeit?

LDL cholesterol is not a direct or clinically useful biomarker for fatigue. Fatigue has many causes (sleep deprivation, iron deficiency, thyroid dysfunction, psychological factors, chronic inflammation) that are mostly unrelated to LDL. Some individuals with hypothyroidism have elevated LDL and fatigue, but the LDL is a consequence of the thyroid condition, not the cause of fatigue. Statins can cause fatigue or muscle weakness in some patients, but that is a side effect, not a benefit. The claim that LDL is 'useful' for fatigue is not supported by evidence. An LDL test alone does not help diagnose or manage fatigue. Persistent fatigue should be evaluated by a physician with appropriate lab work (CBC, iron/ferritin, TSH, vitamin D, B12, etc.). Evidence grade: unclear – no robust human study validates LDL as a fatigue marker.
