The Fertility Check (Fruchtbarkeits-Test) is primarily designed to assess fertility in the context of trying to conceive – typically measuring hormones like AMH, FSH, or LH. It is not intended for diagnosing or managing menopause. Menopause is clinically defined (12 months without menstruation) and confirmed by symptoms and possibly repeated FSH measurements. While a fertility test may offer some insight into ovarian reserve, it cannot determine menopausal status. The evidence for using such tests in perimenopause is weak, and many products are marketed with exaggerated claims. For menopause-related questions, consult a gynecologist or endocrinologist instead.
