Can Body-Balance Check | Testosteron-Test help with stress?

The Body-Balance Check | Testosterone Test by MyBody-X measures your total and/or free testosterone level. Chronic stress can lower testosterone via activation of the HPA axis and elevated cortisol. A low testosterone value may thus hint at stress burden, but it is not specific – sleep deprivation, obesity, aging, or underlying diseases also reduce testosterone. The test is a screening tool, not a stress diagnosis. Evidence for the testosterone–stress link is human-moderate: studies show inverse correlations with cortisol, yet high inter-individual variability exists. Caveat: a single measurement says little about stress dynamics; time of day, diet, and menstrual cycle (in women) affect results. For stress assessment, cortisol day profiles or validated questionnaires are more appropriate. The test can, however, indicate whether hormonal factors contribute to fatigue. If values are abnormal, consult an endocrinologist.
