How are Leaky Gut Test and blood sugar related?

The relationship between a Leaky Gut Test and blood sugar is not well-established. Leaky gut tests (e.g., zonulin, LPS) measure markers of intestinal permeability, which have been associated with inflammation and insulin resistance in some observational studies. However, direct causal evidence linking these markers to fasting glucose or HbA1c is lacking. The clinical validity of such tests for blood sugar management is low; they are lifestyle tools, not medical diagnostics. MyBody-X tests do not measure blood glucose. For reliable blood sugar assessment, standard methods (blood draw, continuous glucose monitoring) are required. Evidence: mostly mechanistic and observational; no strong human evidence.
