Can AMH help with Wechseljahre?

AMH (Anti-Müllerian hormone) is a biomarker for ovarian reserve, i.e., the number of remaining eggs. It can help predict the timing of menopause, but it does not treat or alleviate menopausal symptoms. A low AMH level indicates approaching menopause, but symptoms (hot flashes, sleep issues) are caused by hormonal fluctuations, not by AMH itself. MyBody-X does not offer an AMH test (only cortisol). AMH is a blood test, not a DNA test. Evidence: human-observational. Caveat: AMH alone is not diagnostic; medical consultation is required.
