The KombiCheck | Intolerance & Allergy Test commonly analyzes genetic variants associated with food intolerances and allergies. Common causes include: lactose intolerance (LCT gene, C/T-13910), gluten intolerance/celiac disease (HLA-DQ2/DQ8), histamine intolerance (DAO gene, e.g., rs10156191), fructose malabsorption (GLUT5 gene), and IgE-mediated allergies to milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, wheat, fish, and shellfish. Evidence strength varies: strong for lactose intolerance and celiac disease (clinical practice), moderate for histamine intolerance.
